Watch out Desperate Housewives -- a loan lead company is coming to television to find mortgage lead prospects.
The Loan Page launched the second television campaign ever by a national leads generation company, according to an announcement from parent HouseValues Inc.
The TV campaign, specifically developed to drive an accelerated volume of mortgage prospects to Washington-based lead generation company, is part of the company's ongoing strategy to take advantage of the migration of consumers moving online for mortgage information and to ultimately find the right lender and mortgage, HouseValues said.
"The Loan Page is known for its strong network of lenders as well as its aggressive Internet marketing and advertising strategy," said Kevin Akeroyd, HouseValues vice president of mortgage, in the announcement. We "are thrilled to leverage the company's media-buying expertise to generate an even greater number of mortgage leads to our lender and mortgage broker partners."
One of the two 15-second spots, which are running on national cable networks such as CNN, Fox News and HGTV, concentrates on the "needs" of consumers by highlighting the various reasons consumers might take out a loan, including purchasing a home, lowering credit card debt, making significant home repairs or financing college education. Meanwhile, the "competition" spot demonstrates how The Loan Page matches consumers with up to four pre-qualified lenders that best match their needs with the best rate, according to the announcement.
Leads sold to originators include those for purchase money loans, refinance loans, debt consolidation, home equity loans and lines, and subprime leads, according to Loan Page's Web site, which also provides resources and articles regarding interest-only loans and jumbo loan refinancing, among other types of mortgage-related subjects.
Loan prospects can request up to four competitive bids from national lenders for home purchases, as well as refinances and HELOCs, HouseValues said.
The Loan Page currently has a network of more than 150 local and national lenders, including eight of the top 20 lenders, the statement said.
"The addition of a national television campaign will help accelerate our growth and open new partnership opportunities for leading lenders and mortgage brokers to join our network," Akeroyd said.
