Fitch affirmed Provident Funding Associates, L.P.'s `RPS3' residential primary servicer ratings for prime and Alt-A products. The ratings are based on the company's experienced management team, the continued good performance of the company's portfolio and the infrastructure developed by Provident Funding. Provident is one of the largest privately held, non bank-owned mortgage lenders in the United States. Fitch rates residential mortgage primary, master, and special servicers on a scale of 1 to 5, with 1 being the highest rating. Within each of these rating levels, Fitch further differentiates ratings by plus (+) and minus (-) as well as the flat rating.
