Boersma also plans to lead a breakout session on time management. Past NAMB president Janice Hix, now with Fannie Mae, is scheduled to speak on "Strategic Tools for Business Growth."
The educational class schedule, for which CEU credits can be earned, includes classes on subprime loans adn FHA lending.
In addition to a scheduled golf tournament and opening evening bay cruise, entertainment is to include a performance by Rich Little at the Gala Dinner closing night.
Also, NAMB is offering several tours for spouses/guests including Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, the Naval Academy at Annapolis and an antique shopping trip to Frederick, Maryland, the site says.
At last year's convention in Cleveland, Kansas City mortgage broker Melissa Walker was honored as the 2002 "Mortgage Broker of the Year" and InterFirst Wholesale Mortgage Lending was named "Affiliate Company of the Year."
Registration fees vary. For NAMB members, advance registration is $495, nonmembers $595. Spouses or guests are $250 in advance.
